On April 18, 2026, the 19th International Exhibition "Education and Science in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation" was held in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Gaudeamus Educational Training Center. The event traditionally brought together the leading higher education institutions of the two countries, providing a unique platform for direct dialogue between prospective applicants and representatives of the academic community.
Vavilov University was represented at the event by Anna Shadrina, Director of the Institute of International Relations. The university's stand aroused great interest among visitors: during the exhibition, more than 1,500 students of grades 9-11 from educational institutions of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the university's proposals.
The guests of the exhibition received comprehensive information about a wide range of training areas and educational programs implemented at the university. Special attention was paid to innovative teaching methods that allow students of Vavilov University not only to gain fundamental theoretical knowledge, but also to master advanced technologies in their professional fields. The representative of the university spoke in detail about the career prospects of graduates who are in demand both in the agro-industrial complex and in related high-tech sectors of the economy.
During the event, numerous meetings were held with applicants and their parents. Anna Shadrina presented the new areas of study opened at the university this year, and also explained the conditions for providing scholarship programs and grant support for international students. During the individual consultations, issues related to the admission procedure, registration of necessary documents, accommodation in dormitories and the specifics of studying in Russia were considered in detail.
Summing up a busy day at the exhibition, Anna Shadrina, Director of the Institute of International Relations, stressed the strategic importance of such events:

The exhibition once again confirmed the high interest of Kazakhstani youth in obtaining high-quality Russian education.
